Fundamentals of C++

C++ is the powerhouse behind game engines, high-speed operating systems, embedded systems, and robotics. Master strong typing, memory awareness, algorithmic logic, pointers, and object-oriented concepts that make you a deeply skilled programmer.

Ages 13+ Flexible schedule (1–3× / week) 14 hrs syllabus (9 hrs min) 1.5hr sessions 2–3 months
🟢

Prerequisite: No Prior Knowledge Needed

🟢 No Prior Knowledge — Suitable for ambitious learners ready for foundational systems programming.

Core Areas Covered

✓ C++ compilation process & syntax✓ Data types, memory sizes & operators✓ Control structures (if, switch, while, for)✓ Functions and parameter passing (by value, by reference)✓ Arrays, strings, and vectors✓ Pointers and memory fundamentals✓ Classes and basic object-oriented programming✓ Algorithmic problem solving

Practical Capstone Project

A console-based logic program (e.g. simple inventory tracker or number-based game).

What You'll Master

Flexible Course Pacing & Extension Guidelines

⏱ Extend if: Learner needs pointers/memory basics introduced — add 2–3 hrs, new total 16–17 hrs.

Hour blocks are modular teaching units. Sessions can be merged into 90–120 min deep-dives or split into shorter focused sessions for younger learners while preserving every learning outcome.

Equipment & Prerequisites

Computer with C++ compiler (GCC/Clang or MinGW) and VS Code or Code::Blocks
